The special edition will also include the DLC, but replace the foil cover with an exclusive cover featuring artwork paying tribute to Seattle's iconic Space Needle. However, if fans of the series have already put money down to play the next Seattle-based chapter, there's s good chance they'll be taking a long, hard look at the Second Son Collector's Edition. The company has yet to determine if the DLC will also be applicable for digital pre-orders, but claim that they are working on it, and will make an announcement when possible. The Limited Edition is not restricted solely to new pre-orders, so if your copy is already paid for, the Limited Edition is what you can expect to receive. Now it appears that pre-ordered copies of the game will also include a 'premium foil cover' featuring Delsin in the midst of showing off his smoke/fire abilities, and a DLC campaign entitled "Cole's Legacy." The developers at Sucker Punch have already detailed a number of unique vests designed for new hero Delsin Rowe, available to any who pre-order a copy of the game. But it's the downloadable content included in each that the most diehard fans will be dying to play. With that in mind, two new editions of Second Son have been revealed today: the Limited Edition, coming to all those who pre-order their copies of the game, and the Collector's Edition featuring replicas of several in-game items. The inFAMOUS franchise may not have the colossal clout of other PlayStation exclusives, but with a devoted fan base, and some truly impressive graphics, Sony is prepping it as a PS4 showpiece.
Rumors of what will be made by possible with next-gen consoles continue to run rampant, but one game that has already shown its potential is the PS4 exclusive inFAMOUS: Second Son.
